my number 1 song on this album is "Flying" which I first heard on a local station. to my surprise the rest of the songs were almost as good. what a delightful surprise. thanks to a cd that I will always treasure and dance to. P.S. I'll recomend this to any of my friends.

Like others who've reviewed this, I first heard "Flying" on the radio, then went searching for the CD. I was surprised to see that, like all but two of the tracks on this CD, "Flying" is an original composition. To me, it's an instant classic.

What surprised me most is that I really liked everything else on the CD as well. There are very few popular music CD's which I like in their entirety, but this is a notable exeption. In addition to "I Wonder in Whose Arms" which recalls Jerry Lee Lewis, Chas & Dave's versions of "Melancholy Baby" and "You're Just in Love" have become favorite interpretations of those classics.

I've since bought two other Chas & Dave CD's. I still like everything of theirs I've heard, but "The World of Chas & Dave" is defintely my favorite. As I write this, I'm preparing to order more copies to send to friends. Great stuff!

I heard "Flying" on a local station and have looked everywhere. So glad I found the album. All of the songs are great but "Flying" is definitely the best!

I bought this album based on the one song ,flying.Much to my suprise the whole album is just great.I can't imagine were these guys have been,but to these tired old ears they are A welcome oasis in these sea of crappy music. I hope they will continue with their exsisting theme.

I first heard "Your Just In Love" from the CD--World of Chas&Dave on the radio. The arrangement is fantastic. A combination of Honkey Tonk, Blues, and Orchestra. These guys are great. The whole CD is a pleasant surprise. We need to hear more of these two in the USA> I highly recommend this CD.

I especially love "Flying" and that is the reason we are buying this CD....My husband heard it on a fvorite radio station and requested that song for his birthday present...I looked high and low for it and finally called the station only to find out that it is not for sale in our area yet, but I found it and he is one happy camper now....it is a beautiful song....the rest are good too, but this one is exceptional. A song you want to dance to.

These two wonderful British musicians have turned the world of East Florida into a madhouse of Chas and Dave followers. From Jacksonville to Miami they are well known, and, the most beautiful song to come along in many years ["Flying"] is the undisputed hit of the Florida Treasure Coast. Buy this CD--- you will love it-- I personally guarantee it!!

I had heard their rendition of "Flying" on a radio station in Anchorage Alaska (I was living there 1997-2000) and HAD to have it! After finding it, I ordered it and received it right away. After listening to all their other tracks...I fell in love with them. They are definately talented..."That Old Piano", "Melancholy Baby", "Ain't No Pleasin' You", and "I Wonder In Whose Arms" are some of my absolute favorites...definately one you should buy. I also have their Chas 'n'Dave The Best of Album, it has some, shall we say, 'interesting' songs on it. You'll be singing along just like a Limey, for days after listening to them. I highly recommend it.

I'm late discovering Chas and Dave, but am quite smitten with these two British artists with their distinctive musical style. This duo,not only are great singers, with their cockney accents, but are composers par excellence. Of the ten tracks on this disc, eight are original compositions,all very remarkable in their creativity. The two familiar tracks, "Melancholy Baby" and "You're just in Love", are done in a "sing-along" bar-room style, and you'll find it hard not to join in. The album is worth owning for the single track, "Flying", which is such a beautifully written and rendered piece that you just might want to play it repeatedly. This track has been given a lot of air time, and it, alone, is responsible for their new popularity in this country.I am sure we will be hearing a lot more of these two.

I heard "Flying" on WOBM-AM 1160 and I LOVED it. It pressured me into buying Chas and Dave CD's. There is not one song that I don't like by Chas and Dave. Although Flying is my favorite, other songs are beautiful by them. I highly recommend that you buy Chas and Dave. The songs bring back different memories. Yes-- a lot of memories and I hope that you have the same experience when you buy Chas and Dave CDs!! What are you waiting for!!--Start buying Chas and Dave-- and experience a beautiful type of music that will get you heart fluttering and your mind thinking of how beautiful music can sound if you just take a good listen!!!!
