Book Description

March 1, 2006
The World Cup: The Complete History is one of the few truly encyclopedic guides to the world’s premier soccer tournament, from its earliest days to the 2006 World Cup finals. The book is notable for its comprehensiveness, featuring a chapter for every competition; every single result of every match; every single player in every team; and a detailed round-up of the entire progress of each tournament. There could be no more complete or reasonably-priced reference book for World Cup fans.

5.0 out of 5 stars Every score for every game, A brilliant World Cup reference book, July 11, 2010
This book is keeps it simple, it gives a brief decription of the forming of the World Cup. Then goes on and tells you all the results from qualifing rounds to the final. It also gives a description on the the host country(s) and each round in the finals. If you want a written history of the world cup then you probably can get better, but if you want one with every score of every game then this is perfect. In my humble opion a must have for any World Cup and Football fan.
