The World of Dance CD is being promoted as an album of extended dance mix songs but that's not really true as not *all* of the songs on this CD are extended dance mix versions-- actually only perhaps half them are extended versions as Come On Eileen by Dexy's Midnight Runners, Relax by Frankie Goes to Hollywood, Venus by Bananarama, and Shout by Tears For Fears are their regular length versions. Nontheless the music is great and the best place to find so many hits of the 80s all in one place. This album is definitely worth buying.

This Cd is a great compilation of some (I repeat "some") of the best New Wave hits of the 1980's. I was pleasantly surprised that the recordings were so well done. I'm really glad I bought this.

I have browsed through many Cds on AMAZON, regarding the 1980's NEW WAVE hits, and I was torn as to which CD to buy. I chose this particular one because of the RE-Flex song and a few other songs too (see the list in "product description" and you'll see what I mean) ...As can be seen by the product list, many songs on this CD were actually "one hit wonders" in the 1980's ,and thus, these single hits are not easily available anywhere any more.

PS: Once again, plz note that this is one of the very few CDs out there that has that famous RE-FLEX song on it--->>... The reason being is that the Re-Flex song on this CD was not released for very long in the 1980's. Therefore, that RE-Flex song alone is quite hard to find now. Infact, in order to buy just the RE-Flex song as a single on Amazon,it will cost you well over $20.00 (the last time I looked).

What an EXCELLENT compilation, especially "The Politics of Dancing" by Re-Flex. Very glad I bought it!
