All types of aircraft are detailed, including helicopters, airships, balloons and gliders, providing they could carry a minimum of eight passengers, or an equivalent amount of cargo. Main entries include date and location of accident, aircraft registration and construction numbers, type, circumstances and casualities. Cross reference appendices provide details by aircraft type and operator. The book also covers civil transport aircraft as well as military and smaller aircraft lost in airline service.
