This is the best sign of it's kind. Not only is it a stark warning to non-gardeners, but is also a reminder of the danger involved in gardening. Just as the sign shows, falling onto your shovel's handle is a real threat that us gardeners think about every day. A trip to the emergency room in the back of a pickup truck with a shovel half embedded in my rump was not the way I wanted to spend my daughter's 14th birthday. I can assure you of that.
