BOTH THESE ALBUMS ARE TRUE CLASSICS GREAT COMPOSITIONS,VOCALS,GUITAR PLAYING, AND RYTHM SECTION TO GET BOTH THESE FOR THIS PRICE IS THE BIGGEST STEAL IN METAL I WOULD PAY THIS PRICE FOR EACH OF THESE CD'S BUT DON'T TELL THEM THEY MAY CHARGE EXTRA! BUY TODAY YOU SIMPLY HAVE TO!

Finally, finally, finally!!!! I got into Chastain and CJSS back in 1987. I was a "Road Warrior" for a consulting group in Florida when I got out of college so I spent A LOT of time in my car (~3000 miles/month) and CJSS was one of the most played. I burned through two Praise the Loud tapes and I've been trying to find this music for years. Now both CJSS efforts are out on ONE CD. This is really top notch 80's Power Metal, I certainly favor the second album over the first, but David Chastain's guitar work is just plain awesome on these records. Russell Jinkens who does the vocals has got some range and power (similar to Leather from the Chastain band, though of a different sex).

Here's the deal, this cd skips, and or has blank spots. This is obviously because the master has blank spots. I returned the first copy only to find that the second is the same. I will keep the cd because it is tollerable and I don't wants to buy the seperate cds at 10 bucks a pop, but you may want to. The music is great cjss music but be wary there are about 8 to 10 blank spots in it.
