This is a nice small light that is perfect for hallways or powder rooms. We put ours in a hallway and its dimensions were perfect. I wanted a light that can handle standard bulbs not specialty ones and this fit the bill. It looks very nice (we got the Satin Nickel finish) and its functional. We have two CFL bulbs in it and it is bright enough. I would recommend this and not hesitate to buy it again

I replaced a cheap light fixture in my hallway with this rather expensive oil rubbed bronze light. It's very nice for a narrow hallway location. I recommend it if you want a handsome looking, yet simple, light.
