4.0 out of 5 stars This is not to the standard of the Silk Road Albumns 1+2, July 3, 2000
This review is from: World of Kitaro (Audio CD)
If you have listened to the brilliant Silk Road albumns 1+2 and loved them as I do, you will be very disapointed with this offering. There is non of the true ambience, of drifting upon clouds over the rolling hills, forests or deserts of the Silk Road. This is very straightforward music, without any feel of China in it. It is not a bad albumn if you want gentle background music. It is not to the standard of the Silk Road Albumns, in fact if it hadn't said who the composer was on the case, I don't think you would recognise it a sbeing Kitaro's work.
