Great Bakeware set! Really convenient to have lids for everything. I use a lot less aluminum foil and clear wrap so its environmentally friendly. Great for casseroles. The round dishes are great for making side dishes in like pudding or potato salad. Lids are great for potluck's and the leftovers can be put right in the fridge.

There is only one name in glass bakeware, and that name is Pyrex. This is an excellent all around set, and with the lids included it makes it easy to slap on a cover and pop leftovers into the fridge. Worth the investment.

My only complaint is there isn't a cobalt set like this... what can I say, I like blue.

What more can you say, its Pyrex. I love this set. I also purchased the storage set and mixing set. Needless to say, all my old plastic junk was put in the trash.

The lids are fantastic. They feel like they will hold up forever unlike some others that are rigid and tend to break at the corners or tabs. I never put the lids in the dishwasher, although they are labeled as top rack safe.

This is a great set of glass bakeware. Received it yesterday and was amazed at how much there is in the box. It's def 19 pieces.
Everything was intact (no breakage). Quality is great, it's made in the USA, Pyrex glass.. Very happy with the purchase. Def. would do it again. In fact, am thinking of a few folks that might get Pyrex Xmas gifts. :-)

I originally bought one of these dishes with the lid from the grocery store and absolutly feel in love with having the lid for the dish. It was nice to not have to deal with fighting saran wrap to cover the dish. The glass bowls are great so if you are making cookies you can cover the remaining batter while you bake your cookies. Plus I have always loved Pyrex for the simple reason of they put the size of the dish on the bottom. It seems a little silly, but I hate cooking something and grabbing the pan and having to guess or measure it.

For the life of me, I cannot understand why some Americans are trying to slander one of the few remaining products to be made in this country. I received what I would call a "bogus email" about exploding pyrex ware. Well, let's debunk the myth. First of all, it's made out of glass, anyone with common sense can and should read the directions, which explicitly state, do not put under a broiler or in an oven set to a higher temperature than recommended by the manufacturer, or on a stove top, and lastly, who in their right mind would place a glass container of any kind in an oven directly from a freezer. Also, one should never add cold liquid to a hot dish, in any kind of glassware. As for me, I'm planning to give pyrex as gifts this Christmas, as I did last year, and since the company has made the handles on the roasters, pie plates, loaf pans, etc, larger than in the past, I can only say that Pyrex is now the primo American-made cookware!
Those who are dissing pyrex, sound like the same bunch of people who would sue a company/manufacturer if they were to fall off a ladder.
