5 of 5 people found the following review helpful By AnnaV on December 26, 2011
Format: Spiral-bound
When I bought this cookbook a few years ago, I had no idea how much I was going to love it and use it. I don't always trust cookbooks that focus on several types of cultures because I feel like the recipes are somewhat watered down. I'd rather buy a cookbook focusing on one type of cuisine. Not in this case! I've made at least one recipe from each culture, and almost all of them have been fantastic. This is one of my staple cookbooks. The tortilla soup has become my base recipe. 2 thumbs up and 5 stars!

I own a copy of The World Kitchen, and have made multiple of recipes in this book with great success. This is a beautifly book, I am very proud to have it in my collection of cook books.I am giving this copy of The World Kitchen as a Christmas gift. Recipes are easy to follow, ingredients are easy to find.
