The opening parts showing scenes in Pakistan are pretty amazing for this Westerner. And to see people from the world over getting so excited about this man and the music he sings. I ended up loving his music more than I could imagine by buying and seeing this DVD.

It's exciting to hear about how his father taught him and the time they spent together. You learn how he developed his voice and created his style and how he revolutionized this music and brought it places around the world. Most of this information comes from Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan himself. I hope his music will still live on and continue to spread without the man himself. I hope that someone will follow his footsteps.

Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan gave the world a phenomenal ride. This film opened my eyes to the culture and music of South Asia. I loved it !!!

Definitively worth watching! An outstanding introduction to a great musician and creative spirit. I do wish however that we had seen some of the artist's "dark" side. While inspiring and informative, this portrait could have more dimensions and depth.
