funny, heartwarming romance,

This family-friendly manga is one of my current favorites. It is funny and sweet; a cross between school romance and slice of life genres. The story is about two middle-schoolers (she: Narue and he: Kazuto) who like one another and start dating. The twist is that Narue is a space alien! But apart from that she's pretty normal.The storyline is similar to others you've seen, like Ah! My Goddess or AI Love You. Instead of one older and one younger sister, there is a single character who is both! But unlike those other stories, both Narue and Kazuto are quirky real people. As they get to know one another, they have misunderstandings and uncover less attractive sides of one another. But they try to understand and be nice to one another. Overall, it's a lot of fun and a pleasant read. |
