This package offers a great selection of the older, classic Need For Speed games for a really good price. Underground is fun, especially if you're into modifying your car. Some older computers may have to set the detail to low though to get it to run well. Hot Pursuit 2 is probably my favorite - wickedly fun racing and outsmarting the cops, plus a great deal of different vehicles to try. Porsche Unleashed has some lovely graphical touches and some great circuits. High Stakes used to be my favorite back in my Windows 98 days. Unfortunately this game doesn't work on Win XP unless you install a few special patches that you can easily find on the web... once you do this, it plays as well as it used to, and I think the original tracks included on High Stakes were some of the best ever. Overall, a recommended trip down memory lane - I think I play these old games more than Most Wanted!

The Need for Speed package comes with NFS Hot Pursuit, Underground, Porsche, and High Stakes. Mostly your time will be spent with underground. The series is all about racing in some way or another with beautiful stunning cars to drive.

Porsche Unlimited is not the best game, but still a quality game. Basically you're racing in Porsches trying to beat the computer opponents. The graphics are par than the other games in this series. Along with High Stakes, it is one of their oldest games dating back from 1999. I haven't played High Stakes so I can't review it yet.

Hot Pursuit, you play by completing missions in a ladder format. What you try to do is race to point a to point b without getting stopped by the cops. These cops are fast and they can also lay down barriers like spike strips and send out helicopters. You earn points by completing a mission by a certain time and if you do, you will earn points that can be exchanged for unlocking rewards like new tracks and car acessories. Hot pursuit is a fun game that displays fantasic graphics. Plus you can play cop and catch as many criminals by destroying their car. HP is a very fun game.

Underground is the best game in this series. Just like in Hot Pursuit you play for points to unlock new car parts and accessories. There are hundreds of features to customize your car with paints, spoilers, tire rims, headlights and more which can be bought for racing and winning.The main feature is the Go Underground where you play to beat other computer opponents. You first play a intro race, you need to win in every race to advance. The intro video looks go realistic where a girl will take you underground to show you what to do win. It looks so realistic when you are playing. When you hit a car at a fast speed or hit a hill very fast. There is a cool brodcast camera that will show you the impact or jump in slow motion. It is cool to see the collisions in slow motions. When you install the games, it will default you to the display settings for your system. If you have a great computer you will not even need to change anything as it will all be displayed at high textures. All the games run smoothly on a 1.4 Ghz AMD.

One minor negative about the game is the no damage collisions on the car. But that doesn't take away from the action.

This is a fun series and must be bought if you're a racing fan. If you have played Nascar Racing 2003 season from Papyrus, this is a alternative to a racing game that is very addicting. Plus the price is right for 4 games. Must buy for any racing fan!

A great variety of racing. There is decked-out street racing to high performence car racing. What ever kind of racing you like, you will find it in this set.
