After I took the flu shot a few years ago (I had never taken one before), I had terrible muscle aches and pains that went on for a long time, like months. I was like a cripple. I tried everything, including finally going to a rheumatologist who prescribed me cortisone. Right before i started on the cortisone, I found out about Vitalzym and started taking large doses of five or six pills three to four times a day. Within a week, all my pain was gone. I now continue with a maintenance dose of three tablets a day as I have since found out that inflammation is a big cause of many diseases.

I think that only good can come of taking this supplement.

It is important that you do not take with food or else it will just act as an expensive digestive enzyme. If you take at least one hour AWAY from food, it will instead digest the things in your body that cause inflammation. Also one must take it with a lot of water.

I wonder if the people that say it didn't work for them followed the rule of not taking it within an hour of food.

To me it was a total miracle in my life!

I really had great expectations of this produt and for the price, but no effect after 3 bottles of 450 capsules each. That's it for me.

I've tried (at least) two other brands of enzyme products, and this is my favorite. It was recommended to me by an osteopath who reported very dramatic results using it herself. I did not have such dramatic results after one bottle and thus tried other products. Recently I tried Vitalzym again, and this time I noticed that I do have reduced inflammation and osteoarthritic pain in my knees when I use this. I should also note that I'm not always very diligent with taking supplements every day!

i have been taking vitalzymes for over five years now as a way to prevent poison oak outbreaks. i live in an area that is full of poison oak and have become very sensitive to it. before i started on vitalzymes i would frequently break out in rashes that covered my arms and legs and stomach. vitalzymes have been an amazing cure for this problem because they counteract the body's inflammatory response. that is why it is so effective with fibromyalgia. but it also works wonders with other inflammatory problems (allergic reactions) such as poison oak/ivy, insect bites, and common allergies. since i have been taking vitalzymes i have not had a poison oak outbreak. i will still occasionally get a small rash here and there, but it doesn't really itch and never spreads. i have also been nearly immune to mosquito bites. i will still get bit, of course, but they don't swell up and they don't itch. i have also had very few problems with seasonal allergies since taking vitalzymes.
as others have stated, it is necessary to build up enough vitalzymes in your body to see an effect. i took a double dosage for a couple of months until it started to work, but since then i only need to take one a day.

Vitazym did help me to "get a regular" constitution for about the first week of taking it, but now I'm back to irregular. It has helped greatly with digestion and with releaving pain enough that I will continue to purchase vitalsym again.

I bought this product on a recommendation from Melissa of "Cure Endometriosis" blog/website fame and so far so good. I think it takes a little longer than I've been using these enzymes to really kick in but I think they're worth every penny (or cent, since they're currently only available fromt he States). Great product, and I'll be buying again. Oh, but you have to mind there's also a US/UK Customs fee on top of the purchase price, but still Worth It! Thanks

Vitalzym is a product you can trust. It does what is says it will do. At 71 (2011) the body certainly begins to wear out and Vitalzym did provide more strength in my fingers and hands after only 4 weeks of use and I'm certain that more good health is forthcoming

I received this item FAST. Used this product before but this was the ist time I purchased it from Amazon. Great price!
