This is an excellent resource for the disabled, their families or caregivers, and international exchange program staff for planning overseas travel involving international exchange programs, work camps, or community service projects. This edition is available in one volume or two spiral-bound volumes for ease in lifting. Included are organizations and fundraising information as well as travel information and resources. Chapters of the directory list different programs and outline their accessibility to the disabled. Each is followed by narratives of participants' experiences with the type of program described. Lengthy information on fundraising and financial aid is included so that the user can not only figure out the travel logistics but also get the money for the trip. The resources listed in several appendixes include E-mail addresses, web sites, and necessary phone numbers that, along with the addition of an index, update previous editions and make this an especially comprehensive and useful book.
