This is an amazing book.

What I would love to see for a future book in this series is a book filled with non-elaborate art - just pencil and pen sketches, works in progress, etc.

The collection of drawings found here is further testament of the insuperable impact graffiti art has made both locally and on the international stage.

For someone born in the early 70's and growing up in New York City in the 80's and 90's, graffiti and it's artists continue to be icons. Sacha Jenkins and David Villorente's third installation of their Piecebook phenomenon, World Piecebook: Global Graffiti Drawings, focuses on the exploration into graffiti across the globe and shows just how influential and important this art medium is. As graffiti continues to gain the respect and recognition it deserves in mainstream art circles, the artists included in this installation have been properly represented by two gentlemen who have themselves participated in the graffiti movement. As an authentic rendition of an artists "piecebook" or sketchbook, with the marker bleeding through the page, the art showcased on these pages depict stories and sometimes statements about love, hope, a struggle or protest and in other cases, just plain bravado.

I highly recommend anyone who is interested in graffiti, or grew up with it as a part of your life, and who wants a true artists' book; one without all the explanations about style and form, to purchase this book.

The art in this book is unique and beautiful. It actually is made to look like a real sketch book.

Purchased this for my daughter who is a clothing designer in Manhattan. She was absolutely thrilled with it...especially the feature that shows the back side of the art drawing.

This is an amazing book. Heavy paper and bold colors make this seem like a real sketchbook. It features many styles and techniques from a lot of the artist that I look to for inspiration. Two of my friends have thumbed through it and are in the process of ordering their own copy.

High praise goes out to David "Chino" Villorente and Sacha Jenkins for delivering an unflinching insider look into the mind of the graffiti artist!

While there is a plethora of graffiti books out on the mass market; few graffiti books can deliver with breathtaking verve the underpinning gritty structural side of graffiti art. As with Piecebook and Piecebook reloaded, World Piecebook (the third installation) continue to astound us with amazing detail, color and style the mechanizations of graffiti letter art form.

World Piecebook as the title tip-off takes us on a magical sojourn around the world and gathers some of today's preeminent graffiti artist's to showcase their remarkable graffiti. The collection of drawings found here is further testament of the insuperable impact graffiti art has made both locally and on the international stage.

Chino, quietly (and with no exaggeration) has become one of the leading voices of American graffiti. He is one of the few writers today that can articulate with volume and can give us a "first person's" account on living the life of a graffiti artist.
