a refreshing children's book,

This well written and wonderfully illustrated book is a breath of fresh air in the world of children's book. It's message is a good one, and the author presents it in a way that most children can understand it. Five stars.

A great book for children to read as we enter a new century!,

I am a primary teacher and have found A World So Different is a wonderful book to read to children when learning about changes that have taken place in our society making our lives "different" from our ancestors. It also opens the door to imaginative discussions of what the future will be like. Both the author and illustrator did a fantastic job!
