Every now and then, with every garbage disposal I've ever owned, things stop. They either grind to a halt, or just don't turn on.

Quick aside - if there is no noise, you usually have to reset with a button underneath the disposal (at least on insinkerators).

I called out the plumber a couple times in these situations, not knowing what to do, and payed $100+ to have him fix it in 5 minutes. The second time I watched him, and he simply used a tool (like this one) to get the thing moving.

So we bought our own, and have used it 30+ times since. Especially as our disposal got older, the wrench was invaluable to simply keep our disposal working.

Cheaper than a new disposal, does the job very well, and simply in design. What more could you ask for?

Anyone with a garbage disposal needs this kept right under it......we moved, I lost mine and HAD to order this one.......It's GREAT!
