"WORLD TALK" THAI has great little games to help you on your way to master the Thai language. Though, by mastering all the games on this cd-rom, you will not be fluent in Thai. In fact, you will barely have a working vocabulary. This cd-rom is for learning extremely basic Thai.
This is what I liked about the "World Talk - Learn Thai": 1. It had many different games 2. It uses the total immersion method 3. The direction game is excellent 4. The quiz show, were one could challenge friends, makes it competitive. 5. Great price This what I didn't like about it. 1. It teaches people to read Thai-- not real Thai, but some sort romanized fake Thai script. 2. The graphics are very weak. 3. Does not teach grammar 4. It does not have a lot of depth All and all, this is a good CD-ROM. Since it does have a lot of vocabulary and does not teach you communicate at an intermediate level, it should be called "WORLD TALK- LEARN THAI: BEGINNER LEVEL." This is the funnest cd-rom available for learning Thai. |
