I was first introduced to the material in this book during a continuing education lecture for Opticians. After ten years of dull or often repetitive courses, this lecture based on this book kept me spellbound.
Being an optician and understanding vision problems caused by health issues and connecting it to an artist's work was highly educational and entertaining.
Any art student would benefit by adding this to their book collection.
