If you had to buy one CD from that ex-band,that would be the one to get.This band was great live!I saw that band at least 15 times and every time I was amaze by there talent.Alain Caron was rated number 4 in the bass player magazine last year.When you hear him on this 2 cd set, you do understand why.Alain,Paul Brochu(Drums)and Michel Cusson(guitars)are top rated musicians with great composition skills and amazing sense of time.On these 2 cd's you will find the best tracks from there 1990 world tour.If you don't have any of there CD's this is the one to get !!!

Fusion music never have sounded so good live, never have been played so brilliantly! I remember the day I did buy this album 13 years ago in 1990. I was already a fan of the band but this live album really blew me away!! I still listen to this album a lot, 13 years after!! if you love jazz, electric jazz, fusion, hard fusion, jazz/funky rhythms, electric distorted guitars, amazing bass compings, fantastic creative drum works, stellar fusion compositions you can't lose this album. Musicianship all around this album is amazing, interplay is at the maximum level. Thil double live album could outplay every fusion live album ever recorded in my opinion. Probably only Frank Gambale Live could be compared. This album is perhaps a less blowing session than Frank's live album but a lot better in terms of general musical value. If you are considering to buy Vital Information recent double live album do yourself a favour. Bypass the VI album and buy this one. Absolutly!! This is an immortal recording for the fusion enthusiast.
