This gig bag is priced very reasonably. This bag is advertised at 20mm padding, which equates to a tad over 3/4 of an inch. In this price range, competing products typically have 10mm of padding, or about half as thick what this bag has.

Just a cosmetic note: although the bag is black, the trim on the storage pocket is an "almost pink" shade of burgundy, so this bag is better suited for a girl than a boy, something good to know if you plan this as a gift for a child or teen.

The bag is designed in the general shape of an acoustic guitar. It is a good size, with interior dimensions of approximately 40.5" long by 16" wide by 4" deep, easily fitting a full size dreadnought acoustic guitar. I have a Takamine S35 acoustic, which fits neatly in the bag. The bag is constructed of nylon Cordura material lined with PVC. Like the exterior, the interior is made of Cordura. As such it is water resistant - resistant, not water proof!

This is a gig bag, meaning it is a soft-shell bag. It It will provide light protection for your acoustic guitar, but please keep in mind the tops of acoustics are made of soft wood like spruce, so don't expect to be able to toss, step on, or abuse this bag while the guitar is in it. It provides nice general protection from the elements and minor bumps while transporting your instrument. If you anticipate rough handling or leave your instrument out in the open, like in backstage areas, school hallways or music rooms, etc. then consider a hard-shell case for increased protection.

Other things to know about this product: The bag is lightweight, weighing less than 4 pounds. The zippers are heavy duty, approximately 5/16" in width. The bag also has a storage area (small zippered pocket atop a large zippered pocket) which can hold some music books, strings, picks, etc.

As far as handling, the bag has a traditional side handle for carrying as well as two back-pack style straps for wearing it on your back. The straps are comfortable, being nicely padded and adjustable. It would have been fantastic had the case allowed for the use of a clip-on nylon strap to carry the bag over your shoulder, but it doesn't. That's the only design flaw, a very minor one, on this product. The bag also has rubber feet at the base.

The bag comes with a 5 year warranty. So if you are in the market for a gig bag, you cannot go wrong with the World Tour WG20D for the price!

This is the first gig-bag I have ever purchased that didn't come with the guitar. (I usually buy things used) It fit the guitar well and did have lots of compartments. Obviously right out of the box it did not stand well on the feet as described, which was my only real complaint. This was a present along with a new guitar for my newphew and when I hear how well it works, if the zipper gets caught, etc...then I will make an update. For now, I am happy I went with a bag thick enough to protect the guitar in case it is dropped.

This is a great gig bag, especially for the price. It has lots of compartments and is well padded. I have a hardshell case, but it's just way too heavy and I think this bag actually protects my guitar better because of the padding. I also got it through Amazon Prime, which is always a great deal on shipping. I always check for items on Amazon Prime first. Thanks, Amazon and Amazon Marketplace for another great product!

Great bag for the price. Seems very durable, yet lightweight. I only wish I had taken a closer look at the picture. The pockets have pink trim which was not a hit with my son the recipient.

I am very happy with the construction of this guitar bag. It is well padded yet light weight and will protect my guitar when I transport it on my bicycle while wearing it backpack style. The pockets are a plus. But, it is a struggle to get it zipped. If it were not for the faulty zipper, it would be perfect.

So I bought this bag specifically to protect my acoustic/electric Epiphone AJ guitar. All I wanted was a durable bag with pockets to store my stuff, and I found it.

Pros

-Pretty thick and will protect most minor bumps and crashes. It's not indestructible though, so don't throw your guitar to the ground
-It's a backpack too! That's very convenient considering I carry an amplifier around with it.
-Many pockets. Many. It will store all of your capos, tablature, you name it.
-It fits most (if not all) acoustic or classic guitars. Even your electric maybe, but I wouldn't recommend that.

Cons

-It's subjective, but the color may not be for you. A minor gripe, so I won't nit pick.

Go buy it. You need one.

HEAVY DUTY BAG, WELL PADDED AND STRONG HANDLES & ZIPPERS. WELL WORTH THE PRICE.

Exactly what I was looking for: reasonably priced, well-constructed bag for a full-size dreadnought acoustic. There is a large plastic/rubber logo on the front that is a bit silly, but doesn't detract from the overall value and quality of the case.

Its well padded, the outer border lining has a visible conjunction (like a burnt fabric has, which is ugly)
Usual size pulls ( not over sized as it has been described)
