Great Reading but Pricey
"World War II" is an excellent publication. Lots of new stories and little-known facts. I have every issue going back to their orignal publication back in mid 1986. HistoryNet (Weider History Group) has an excellent website and includes a forum for each of their publications. "World War II" is a bimonthly publication. My one pet peeve against the publisher is...

Subscription Renewal
This is an extension of a magazine subscription that expires this month. I will not know if I am satisfied until I receive a new issue.

"World War II" is an excellent publication. Lots of new stories and little-known facts. I have every issue going back to their orignal publication back in mid 1986. My one pet peeve against the publisher is the increasing price for subscriptions. It was not long ago that I could get rates for less than $2.50 an issue. Amazon normally offers excellent deals on their products, but their offer for "World War II" is not one of them. At [...], the current rate for new subscribers is $[...] for six issues or $39.95 for 12 issues. If you are a current subscriber, you can renew there for $[...] for six issues or $[...] for 12 issues. Like DirecTV, these guys treat new customers better than their current subscribers.

Perfect gift for my father...,

My father was a nose gunner on a B-24 Liberator that flew several missions over Germany in the latter half of WWII. His brother served during the battle of Coral Sea. Dad loves reading all the articles in the magazine, and reads it from cover to cover.
