First - this is not a ring bound edition. What this is, is just the regular paperback version that you can get cheaper plus an empty 3 ring binder. I had expected the guide to be ring bound so that I could replace pages as they went out of date, or add new content as it became available.

The guide itself just plain stinks.

Trade items - it only lists the mats, not what they do. Better off using a mod
Armor and weapons section - it doesn't list stats on any of these. Better off using a mod to get this information.
Maps - too small, but at least somewhat useful
Quests - many mistakes; not sorted in any order that makes sense. Very hard to use this situation. It would have been nice if they had been sorted somehow - alphabetical order, grouped by quest chains, grouped by quest giver location, anything.

Overall, this was a completer waste of money. There is information obtainable from thottbot, allakhazam, or wowwiki which is easier to find and more accurate.

Stay away from this.

I too thought this would be a guide in a 3 ring binder, but it's just a VERY cheap binder and the regular paperback guide. I'm sure there's SOME info of use in the guide, so I might slice the binding and then 3 hole punch it myself. Technically, the description is correct, but realistically, most would expect the guide to be in the binder.

Wow! They sent me a binder, and a book. The problem is, the book is not holed for the binder! ...and, sorry to say, I do not have a professional, industry-grade hole punch that can stamp through a book!

Doh!! *hits hand on side of head*

Buy the book w/o the binder bundle. It will help your game, you save a few bucks and save you a "WTF?!!" moment.

Im an Avid WOW player, the manual contains great info, but the book itself fell apart in three weeks time. also the binder broke as well. Stick to buying the game guide alone, the package isn't worth it.

I was expecting the book to be in a binder form. Imagine my dismay when I got a paper notebook binder? The paperback guides do fall apart after alot of use, how nice it would have been if it were in a notebook form in a decent binder.

I should have paid better attention to the other negative reviews because this book was pretty much useless. Just a lot of charts with info of items I don't really care for. I wish the maps were more detailed...I got it super cheap, but still a waste of money.

Binder is fragile
Binder is too small hold more than one of the guides
The guides are not hole punched and they are bound therefore the two don't go together
Guides are mostly collections of facts not text describing how to get the most out of the game.

Personally, at $1.15, I'm betting I'll get at least twice that from my local trade in book store, and I get two binders (cheap or not) for other projects around the house for free. Works for me :)

In all honesty, you cant find the binder in say any retail store usually which makes it a collectors item. And any binder or book will wear out (they are made of biodegradable material after all) over time and lots of use *shrugs* I found the book v facinating and v helpful and plan on using the binder to hold printouts of questing material from various sources on the web. Thanks!!
