4.0 out of 5 stars Great price June 7, 2005
The price as the time writing this review is $23 for 2 months, that gives you about $11.50 per month. The cheapest you can get from WoW official website is $12.99/month, only IF you pre-paid for 6 months.

So pre-paid for 2 months at $11.50/month vs pre-paid 6 months at $12.99/month, you do the math.

I had to say I was a little bit turn off by what Blizzard did to me few minutes ago, I posted on their forums the link to this Amazon deal, it was deleted in 3 minutes. I know they're trying to protect their monthly fee, but it's kind of childish and immature, IMO. Just let you guys know here, you're the judge.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great way to pay for WoW June 8, 2006
Fun: 5.0 out of 5 stars
Okay, this is pretty straightforward. By paying for WoW using these prepaid game cards you get the game cheaper than if you pay month to month using a credit card. On top of that you get the added security of not having to give your credit card info for your subscription. For parents of young people who play the game this is even better, ensuring that your personal information will stay hidden in case the account is hacked. And remember, these cards ship free if you buy over $25 worth, so keep that in mind. Overall this is just a great value, and a cheaper way to feed your MMORPG craving.

Fun: 5.0 out of 5 stars
I remember 2 years ago when there was all this hype over the MMO battle between Everquest 2 and World of Warcraft. Everquest had the experience, but the creators of Warcraft had only produced award winning games. Not a loser in the bunch.

Then the fateful day came, and it wasn't even close. Most people went straight to Warcraft, and those who bought Everquest defected.

At the time of this writing there are 9 million people who are playing online Warcraft. I quit 2 times, but came back because it appears that no company is in a position to overtake them.

If you like online fantasy games, World of Warcraft is top of the line, very addictive. Not recommended if you already have a solid marriage and children. This game takes up a lot of free time.

I like having this option instead of having to enter credit info. I have been overcharged by other MMORPG's in the past, and had to go through the hassle of sorting it out. Read more

Damaged code
My code won't work so I could have done the same thing, although I don't see any faded numbers, I'll say the amount of digits i can see on each section to see if its right.

Lot of people also get free Amazon gift cards for doing online surveys, video watching and surfing through places like swagbucks. I pay for my WoW time, Kindle books, etc this way. I get $50-$70 per month to use on Amazon.

Why only 60+ game cards?
They won't go to a "pay for the hours you play" system because it's a bad business model for them. It makes the player conscious of every hour spent in-game, and even reluctant to continue playing. It would discourage active, ongoing involvement with the game, which is the life blood... Read more

Do you really have to wait for a physical product?
Something is actually shipped. It's a regular DVD size case with the card inside it, you have to scratch off the back and enter the code. The exact same thing you get inside a B&M store except no sales tax (for most people).
