Decent Add-on,

This is a decent add-on to the WoW Board Game. However, if you are limited on money, buy the Burning Crusade expansion first, In my opinion, that is a better addition to the game than this add-on. However, this is a worthy add-on if you get hooked on the original (as I did.) The add-on consists mainly of a new deck of destiny cards that add new events (in addition to the current event cards), blue cards - quests to reward something for defeating blue creatures, a new set of item cards (mainly as rewards for the blue quests) and a few new powers and talents for the original characters. The new powers and talents are truly the value of the addition - while interesting things happen from the destiny cards, and the blue quests are nicer than killing blue creatures for nothing, I think the expanded choice of powers and talents is the best part of the addition. Which is why I say to get the Burning Crusade expansion first. You pay a lot for this expansion if all you mainly want is the 10 or so new powers and talents...

This review is from: World of Warcraft: Shadow of War Expansion (Toy)
This definitely adds to WoW the Board Game. Unfortunately, the game is no longer in print since Fantasy Flights' rights to the game expired in February. If you haven't gotten this expansion yet, but you like the base game, jump on it before it is gone! This expansion consists mostly of cards (talents, spells, etc.), but it adds a lot to the game for the price without adding to the playing time. The Burning Crusade expansion is a lot of fun, but it adds significant time to the game, and it is more expensive. This expansion should not be overlooked!
