I bought the Collector's Edition strictly because of this CD. The music is a large part of what I like about WoW. Every track goes perfectly with the areas that correspond them. listening to the music brings imagery from the game and the vast vistas of Azeroth.

The only problem is it doesn't have every track from the game, but that is understandable since the game is so vast. I'd like to see a follow up, maybe the one from BC will cover this.

I also would like to add that this CD can be bought directly from Blizzard for 10 bucks. The price some of these guys are trying to charge elsewhere is a bit ridiculous. Especially since it's the exact same CD as the one from the CE.

Highly recommended.

I just wanna say this is an amazing sound track, i've listened to it many times. Blizzard has hired very talented music composers, as they've done with their previous games as well. The music tracks fit the zones they are trying to portray perfectly, from the foreboding gloomy music of the undead zones, to the mystical grand music of the might elves. As a long time game music aficionado I am impressed at how classical music is still being evolved.
