At the time I got Valeera action figure, I gave it 2 stars.
I began my collection of WoW action figures, and this was the last one I got.

This is by far the cheapest single action figure made in the series. While the visual concept and the looks (from far) seems cool, at close you can notice that there was little love when making the details, it is poorly constructed, there were errors in the painting, the sword was a horrible looking.. it looked like a "toy sword", instead of a "real sword".

I put a stop to my prejudice and included this figure to my collection set. The problem is that it had some problems standing on its own (if you notice carefully in the product image, it has 2 circular transparent plastic panels at its feet that works as support). Anyways, it could stand on its own, and I went away, kind of happy...

2 weeks later, the toy began falling, lost its balance, the feet panels were kind of umbalanced. My quick solution, after many falls, was to put the draeni action figure panel on 1 foot, as aditional support. It worked, still does.

You know, the prob was that, the total weight of the toy, over time, made it bend. (Same issue has the Illidan figure - also from Series 1 - because the weight of the wings at the back is too much).

So, it bends, and today, I noticed Valeera is almost kissing the ground now. It has been 3 months after I purchased it (was brand new).

I uploaded a photo on the image product gallery. I hope it goes thru.

Overall opinion: if you are a collector, and decide to keep top quality on the Wow Series, skip this one. It is the only one that it doesnt fit on quality. Seriously.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent figure, August 26, 2011

I bought this in June 2010, along with World of Warcraft Series 5: Night Elf Hunter: Alathena Moonbreeze with Sorna Action Figure and World of Warcraft Series 3 Draenei Mage Action Figure. All are still in perfect condition, save for Tamuura's sword; but that apparently is a common problem.

Other than the one I mentioned above, I have not had a single issue with ANY of these figures. None of them have fallen, and none have broken. I bought a sturdy bookshelf specifically for them. They will only fall if someone knocks the shelf around, never on their own.

I can see that her details aren't near as refined as the rest, but then again I am comparing her with the later series; Given that she was one of the first made, I can understand it. This is still a beautiful figure that is worth buying for any collector.

I would suggest this toy for any hardcore fans of World of Warcraft. I love these fleshed out action figures they've come out with. The detail is amazing, I would have to give it a 9/10 score. A well made piece for your collection and something I always enjoy looking at.

Valeera is so cool - in fact, she's my favorite of this series of WoW action figures. (I have all of them, because I'm a big WoW-geek.) She's got a lot of great detailing on her outfit, like the "jewel" insets and ripples in her cloak. She even has a few thin bloodied cuts on her legs, as if she's in the middle of a big fight (which she is, if you refer to the artwork on which this pose is based). I gave her 4 out of 5 stars for durability, because she was unbalanced enough that she fell off my bookcase and one of the clear plastic discs on her feet cracked off, but she's as good as new with a dab of Krazy Glue.

I'm not sure why the previous reviewer thought she was poor-quality - although she's not the Most Amazing action figure I've ever seen, she still looks great and has much more energy and motion in her pose/hair/clothing than many other female action figures I own.

She's described as an "action figure", but she's not very articulated. Personally, I have no problem with this because I'm not playing with her - I'm displaying her. I suppose a young child could find her lack of movement irritating, but I'm going to take a wild guess that 99.9% of the Valeera action figures are being purchased by adult WoW fans, not for little kids.

Overall, Valeera rocks. I just wish Blizzard would make more cool female action figures!

She started to bow and lean forward off of her stand within a month. And her dagger broke off unexpectedly. I would not suggest on purchasing.

Being from the first series, it doesn't have anywhere near the detail of the later sets. There really is no comparison to the other WOW figures. If you are a collector trying to get them all - then add it to your collection. However, if you just want the ones that look the best, you can give this one a miss.

This one is hard to come by. It's from the Series 1 collection. Originally you could get this for around $20. Now I see them going for $80. This is a good addition to any World of Warcraft action figure collection.

This is a very nice piece yes. Only a few problems with it. It is the most cheaply made piece out of the series. My guess is they made it out of cheap product because they knew that the Male Genre would boost the sales regardless just because she's scantily clad. All the other pieces of the series; even the Warlock with the Three piece Staff are made better than this piece. They may as well have just made this into a Blow Up Adult Toy because that's about the quality it is and what the piece is used for by most teens out there that play this game.
