An utterly breathtaking album - buy this cd right now!,

I first heard the track "Solace" on a local public radio station and immediately got my pen and paper ready to write down the title - I was determined to find the album. Upon listening to the sound samples at Amazon, I still couldn't determine if the entire cd would be as good as that one track but went ahead and ordered it anyway. All I can say is I have no regret what-so-ever! This is such a beautiful cd and as a die-hard fan of Enigma it's very difficult for me to find another cd within the genre that I really like. The album is filled with ambient rhythms, ethnic and Gregorian chants, flute samples, and very exotic instrumentations, yet is definately more ambient than world. In fact, much of the atmospheres and soundscapes as well as the piano melodies are quite similar to the music of Patrick O'hearn and not at all like Robert Miles as indicated in one review. What's even more interesting is that just about every other band sounds cheesy when they incoorperate Gregorian chants into their music but this is definately not the case with this album. In fact, this cd along with Enigma and Mike Oldfield's "Songs of Distant Earth" are probably the only three cds I've heard that blend Gregorian chants perfectly to the music - and so sensually as well! In a nutshell: So far, this album along with Enigma's "Screen Behind the Mirror" have been the only two cds released this year to literally send chills down my spine upon first listen! It is no doubt a must-have for fans of Enigma, Deep Forest, Patrick O'hearn and ambient/world music!

Speachless ! !,

I don't even know where to start... I am a very big fan of Enigma, Arkenstone, and Robert Miles and it is VERY VERY difficult to find artists that are as unique and that touch my soul. Well... I have found another one! I have researched David Lyndon Huff and I am absolutely AMAZED! Most of the time we all like one or two songs off of a CD. If we're lucky it might even be a few... but rare is it that you can listen from beginning to end and not skip one song and at the whole time you are listening... you are being filled with positive energies. This is what Worldbeat does with my soul and I highly recommend anyone that has this love for moving music to invest in this CD.ABSOLUTELY DIVINE MUSIC DAVID ! ! I am searching more of your music... I LOVE THIS!!,

A lot of people seem to compare this to Enigma. I just bought Enigma's LSD album and Worldbeat's first track does sound like them, but it is a style of its own. I love the rhythms and the bass. You can lie around and just soak it up or get on your feet and feel it move you. Either way is a delight!!
