Mithras is a one of a kind band. They are a band that mixes in the strongest elements of early death metal with an atmospheric blend. This CD features excellent drumming, wonderful solos, and...you seriously have to listen to this for yourself. Words alone cannot understand the brilliance and originality that Mithras has to offer. Fans of death metal with an added twist to it (Myrkskog, Zyklon, Phlebotomized) need to check this out.

my friend told me that this is one of the best death metal cd's in existence, i immediately said no and while in my mind i think i am right, i have found the most original death metal album made. worlds beyond the veil is a timeless trip into another universe where man will pay for his ignorence (or so the story goes anyway!) The sound quality sucks, it sounds like morbid angels heretic in a cardboard box but that is nothing compared to the musicianship contained within. the songwriting is fast and heavy while at the same time catchy, in short for fans of death metal or someone looking for a change from all the other "bargain bin" bands around
