4.0 out of 5 stars a good book for people with an interest in architecture, July 29, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: World's Biggest Buildings (Hardcover)
This book includes pictures and a history of many popular large buildings, as well as some buildings that you might not know of. If you are an architect, you should be interested. Not the best photography of a few of the buildings (such as the Empire State Building), but there is a large number of good pictures.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great book for fact-crazy kids, September 17, 2001
By A Customer
This review is from: World's Biggest Buildings (Hardcover)
This oversized book is great for kids who like to learn facts. My eight-year-old son discovered it at his after-school program and we bought a copy to have at home. There is a large range of buildings presented, from the late lamented World Trade Center to Stonehenge. For each building there is a large-format photograph, some summary statistics, and a well-written description. The book can entertain your child for hours.
