The best cheat!,
By A Customer
This review is from: The World's Greatest Fake Book (Spiral-bound)
Chords, melody and lyrics for just about any song you can think of. Brilliant. Re-fires old brain cells and reminds you that your brain's full of tunes and trash you haven't thought of in years. Definately belongs above #100,000 on the Amazon best-seller list. Buy two today.

This is a "good" fake book. But, it's a fake book. Melody, chords, some basic tips. Strictly for jazz guys--nothing here for beginners.

Jazz only!,
By A Customer
This review is from: The World's Greatest Fake Book (Spiral-bound)
I bought this book primarily for flute playing, possibly guitar, and thought from the description and previous review that it covered all kinds of music. Instead the cover (not included in the description) states that it contains only "jazz and fusion compositions" and the composers. I also notice from the cover that it is selling for list price at $32, even though it is copyright 1983. I felt misled because another book with the same title does cover all kinds of music, but has a secondary title "over 1200 songs", apparently not sold on Amazon.
