5.0 out of 5 stars EXCELLENT!! A terrific updated or revised edition to an architectural or skyscraper book to date., October 5, 2006
This review is from: 101 of the World's Tallest Buildings (Hardcover)
I am an avid architectural and skyscraper lover. I recommend this book to any skyscraper lover. I must admit that I have a small skyscraper book library, but I think this title is one of the inprint for most recently completed skyscrapers from around the world. Along with a section of buildings still under completion or just about to be completed. The photography throughout the book is superb with full-color photography with all the buildings included. A MUST HAVE!

I also recommend all the books in the "Tall Buildings" series from Images Publishing which includes: Sky-High Living, Tall Buildings of Asia and Australia and even the first edition to 101 called 100 of the Worlds Tallest Buildings. There will be another title that will be set released later in October entitled "Tall Buildings of Europe, Middle East and Africa"...Can't Wait for that one!

Stunning photography on substantial paper stock keeps this a perfect coffee-table book. At least one ground-level day-time photo per building; some interiors and night shots, too. Every building represented includes the floor plan and written descriptions; detailed and technically informative. For me, a closet architect, this compilation is fun to pick up and simply open at any point and learn about a world-class sky-scraper. The introduction is a thorough and concise history of tall buildings--I found the one-page elevator history very interesting, too.
