5.0 out of 5 stars What a great book!, December 27, 2001
I had such a great time reading this book. If you happen to be a fan of fantasy I beleive you will like it. I couldn't help but smile and laugh the whole time as I continued reading this wonderful book and getting lost somewhere besides reality for a few momnets. A great book should be able to take your mind completely away from reality, if only for a moment. I am aware this book was written with children in mind, but they are some of us adults who enjoy reading the childrens books too. I am looking forward to reading more of Mr. Coville's work.

5.0 out of 5 stars I liked this book because it was a very funny book., October 21, 1999

World's Worst Fairy Godmother was a very good book. I think that it was the very best fiction book I have ever read. Maybelline is a Fairy Godmother. Her boss Mr.Peters, gives her one last chance to do something right. He gives Maybelline a little girl named Susan, to teach her about real love. Maybelline tries to help her by giving her an apple that will make her sweet. Maybelline gets into a big mess, but it gets fixed. You should read this book it is a very good book, and I liked it because it is very funny. As gor the rest of it you will have to read it.

5.0 out of 5 stars The World's Worst Fairy Godmother, April 26, 2004
A Kid's Review
The book I read was The World's Worst Fairy Godmother. It is a fairytale. It is about a Fairy Godmother who can't do anything right for example instead of turning a prince into a frog she turned a princess into a frog. In the book Maybelle who is the world's worst Fairy Godmother has a mission to change Susan a very nice girl but she has obsessions about herself, to feel more for other people then just herself. But when she casts a spell to change Susan's ways Zazmagog a mean and very sneaky imp casts a spell on her to hate everything. The only way she can break the spell is if she gets Susan to say love.
The two main characters are Maybelle and Edna. Maybelle is a fairy who can never do anything right. Edna is totally the opposite she has been Fairy Godmother of the year for the last 147 years.
The problem for Maybelle is that she can't do anything right. Also she gets picked on a lot for being pudgy.
Maybelle finally found out that it was all Edna's fault because when Zozmagog was a baby Edna sent him to the wrong address. So Zozmagog got mad at Maybelle and messed up her magic because he thought it was her fault he turned into an imp.
I really enjoyed reading this book. I liked it mostly because I like reading fairy tales. I would recommend this book to people who enjoy fairy tales!
