I ordered these to help my three and a half year old son to better learn his letters. His twin sister was doing great learning hers but he has a much shorter attention span and is very active so I needed a more tactile method of teaching him. I used similar letter cards in my Montessori classroom but those are very pricy for home use and these do the trick at a fraction of the price. I also like that they help both my children to get the muscle memory of writing the letters with their little fingers since writing is still quite hard for them. These cards are a good size, quite durable and come in a nice storage box. I would love if this company made a upper case/lower case set but that aside I'm very pleased with this purchase.

I looked forward to receiving these letters along with the lowercase and number set from the same manufacturer. Unfortunately, when I opened the box more than 1/3 of the sandpaper letters had already come off of the cards. Needless to say, I returned them all.

In addition, just a few points about the product: the letters are smaller and thinner than the Montessori versions I've seen in schools. Also, the cards are somewhat flimsy and I imagine they might wear out quickly.

Not that I would have the chance to know for sure, since they were already falling apart when I received them!
