A very handy way to raise worms,
By Another large benefit of this system is you do not need to worry when you harvest your castings. Simply stop feeding in one of the lower trays, and feed in the tray above it. This way the worms will move, and you will not have to worry about tossing out your worms and worm eggs when you harvest the castings into your garden. I did a lot of reading up on this system, and since I live so far in the north I was looking for a system that could be odorless and be kept inside during the winter. This system is odorless. I really can't say enough about how well designed this system is, it really makes vermiculture easy.

Wounderfull Idea,
I have had mine for about 3 years now and it works great. The directions that came with it eventually ended up in the composter. I suggest reading up on worm composting to get a better idea on how to use it. I put most of my food waste in it. I had to purchase a few more trays so that it would last the winter without emptying the trays. The worms don't like the cold. I highly recomend this. The great thing about this is that it so simple to maintain. I have left mine alone for a few months and in the spring there is always enough worms to start over. My gardens just love this stuff.
