5.0 out of 5 stars Wormlight
The wormlight is great! It allows you to see when your playing your gameboy in dim light. Batteries are not even required! It's an easy to handle light. All you need to do is plug it into your gameboy and kaboom! you got light!

3.0 out of 5 stars Good light, bad glare
If you can angle your GBA to avoid the massive glare this light gives off, then you'll be ok. The worm doesn't drain much power, which is nice compared to some external ones requiring batteries (Gamester floodlight) which suck down batteries at 3 per day. It's basically a squeeze-type LED flashlight plugged into the GBA's rear port. Not a bad design, but be aware you...

3.0 out of 5 stars Good light, bad glare, November 6, 2002
This review is from: Wormlight: Silver (Game Cartridge)
If you can angle your GBA to avoid the massive glare this light gives off, then you'll be ok. The worm doesn't drain much power, which is nice compared to some external ones requiring batteries (Gamester floodlight) which suck down batteries at 3 per day. It's basically a squeeze-type LED flashlight plugged into the GBA's rear port. Not a bad design, but be aware you cannot move the spiral neck around much, it snaps back to its original position and you almost need to break it for any real position change.

For seven bucks it isn't bad.

The good:

- Lower power drain
- No need for external batteries
- Very small, doesn't get in your way
- Brightness is more than enough in pitch black conditions
- Only seven bucks
- Powers down when the GBA is turned off

The bad:

- Cannot move the arm much to obtain a better position
- BAD GLARE
- The plastic packaging it comes in is sealed like the boy in the bubble, so you'll need a knife to get in which might make returning it awkward if you cannot stand the glare

5.0 out of 5 stars Lighting for GB with Style, October 18, 2000

This product rocks!! Its not like your typical Worm Light because this one glitters in a shiny silver color. This limited edition product goes well with the Pokemon Silver game since it matches the game cartridge. The patented white light will let you play Gameboy all through the dark night, even in late-night road trips. Pick this one up now before its too late!

3.0 out of 5 stars worms, November 12, 2000
This review is from: Wormlight: Gold (Game Cartridge)
The worm light works really well . The only bad part is if you sit or stand on it it breaks . It is really fragile. You can still use it but you have to hold it up. I have to buy a new one now because my brother sat on it.

3.0 out of 5 stars Nice to have, but fragile, December 16, 2000
By A Customer
This review is from: Wormlight: Gold (Game Cartridge)
This light works very well. It makes it so the kids can play their games in the car (or after bedtime). But, I would recommend it for older children. The connection point between the wire and the plug that goes into the gameboy is fragile. We've have several of these break.

2.0 out of 5 stars Cool idea, July 4, 2003
This review is from: Wormlight: Silver (Game Cartridge)
The idea behind the Worm Light is great. Nice to be able to drive and not have someone whining for the lights to go on so they can play their Duels. The problem that have noticed is that the battery life is severly shortened, and they were not that great to begin with. Have to keep a package of batteries in my glove compartment. Otherwise, both myself and my daughter enjoy it. She gets to ride in the car and duel, I get to drive without the risk of overhead light glare.

3.0 out of 5 stars HAVE EXTRA BATTERIES, April 29, 2001
By A Customer
This review is from: Wormlight: Silver (Game Cartridge)
If you want this or any wormlight then you will need alot of extra batteries because everytime you turn the gbc (gameboy color) on with the wormlight hooked up to it the battteries will get lower & lower life. The wormlight takes up aabout 2/4 of the batteries everytime you use it. If I were you I would just save my money & buy a different type of light. Althugh these lights look cool they will take up alot of you battery energy.

1.0 out of 5 stars I'm not sure how this light is supposed to help., May 26, 2004
This review is from: Wormlight: Silver (Game Cartridge)
I bought this light in hopes that it would make my gameboy color easier to play in dim light. No such luck. I really don't understand how this light is supposed to do anything. It just adds a nice glare to the screen. The only way a light would work is if the system had a back light, or if there was an accessory to do this (highly unlikely). I would just save your money and stand near a very bright light when playing your gameboy.
