5.0 out of 5 stars Watch out for the Worms!
Worms Armagedon is a great game! For rpg lovers Worms a great game! There are 30 great levels to bomb through and 11 fun training levels to master the strategy and handeling the weapons. You can even create your own levels if you get board of the levels they already have. You also have hilarious weapons like a cranky old lady or if you prefer a skunk that poisons...

3.0 out of 5 stars A Definate Buy for the PC - Rental Only for the N64
Worms Armageddon for the PC is probably my favorite game of all time. I was quickly drawn towards it due to how funny it was, the high importance of strategy, and the range of options and statistics. You also have super sheep and exploding cows overall their are about 35 weapons that are very humorous and amusing. I think this is a fun game that will last you a very long while!

Worms Armageddon for the PC is probably my favorite game of all time. I was quickly drawn towards it due to how funny it was, the high importance of strategy, and the range of options and statistics. While Worms for N64 still maintains the humor and strategy, it is lacking in too many areas to be worth buying. The very first thing that I came to dislike after buying the game was the bad resolution. On the PC version the res. can be changed to the point where you can see about a quarter of the total landscape. In Worms 64 this is much, much less. Shooting a shotgun, for example, across some water used to be an easy task. Now it's close to impossible due to the fact that you have to scroll so much that your worm is off the screen. I'm not talking about really hard shots either. The next thing I noticed was the complete lack of statistics. Sure, you can create your own team, but that screen where you can see total worms killed, lost, overall % ranking, levels completed (and with what type of medal recieved) is gone. This makes having your own team much less exciting. Also, the amount of options has been but close to nil. Whereas the PC version had over 30 sounds schemes, tombstone choices, victory music, etc., this version has about 6 of each. I know that having the whole range of sounds would probably be impossible on an N64 game but I still expected better. With all this said, I'm still going to give this game 3 stars because the PC version is practically a work of art, and someone who hasn't played that version will probably hold this version of the game in much higher regard than I have. Rent it for a good party game, but if you really like it but it for PC. The requirements are fairly easy to meet (P133).

I recentley tried this wacky looking game, expecting bad results. I was very surprised. This rpg is very fun, and wacky. Some of those weapons are so cool and funny. Once you start, it's hard to put it down. Theres also training missions to get you ready for the big one. All in all, there's a 9/10 chance you'll LOVE this game.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Best Game for N64, November 14, 2001
By
This review is from: Worms: Armageddon (Game Cartridge)
One day while in the local Video Game Store I saw this game sitting on the shelf. I read about it on the back and decided to rent this game. Once home, it blew me away. This game is so cool,
and by far the best Nintendo 64 game out there. The Worms voices make it humorous while trying to survive while other worms are blowing up the places where you stand. The Concept may sound corny at first (as so I thought) but once you play it you'll love it. I wish I could rate this above a 5, but 5 is the maximum rate you could go. Keep this review in mind when renting or buying a video game. :)

Worms is a kick butt strat title that is probably the best multi player game on the N64. Develop a team of worms with great weapons such as the super sheep or the cranky old woman. This is a hilarius game that should be bought by anyone who wants to kill some time. For more information go to www.videogames.com and use "worms" as your search word.

my friends had the PC version of this game and I was overjoyed to see this game on the shelf for the N64 a few years ago. I bought it immediatly and I must say if you have any system that this game is for and you see the version ofthis game for it you MUST I repeat MUST purchase this game. It maybe a strategy/puzzler game butit kicks butt! you'll be surprised how good it is! rent it if you don't believe me! It's basically a war game with worms that have various weapons (Some you have to unlock in mission mode) and both players have a team of worms and each team has thier own secret/special weapon they are: Homing Pigeon, Mad Cow, Banana Bomb, and my favorite, the HOLY HAND GRENADE! you throw this grenade at the opponet then you here a voice scream "HAlLja-U-YU-JA!!!!" then BOOOM! a huge explosion erupts. okay back to the gameplay. each worm on each players team has a set amount of life usually 100 and each weapon can do a diffrent possible amount of damage or effect such as poison. when worms life reaches 0 or if the worm gets knocked into the ocean it dies. when all a player's worms die they lose. the best thing about this game is you can play it multiplayer with just one controller, cool huh? I swear if you don't believe team 17 (the creators of the worms games) have a free demo on thier website that can download. the demos fun itself.

5.0 out of 5 stars awesome!!!, November 15, 2005
= Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Worms: Armageddon (Game Cartridge)
This game rules joo. Seriously. It's a turn based strategy game wherein you play as 4 worms per team and blow the hell outta each other using bazookas, grenades, and off-the-wall weapons like a banana bomb that spawns 5 other banana bombs when it hits, and a herd of explosive mad cows. It's the only game me and my brother play constantly on the 64, and the ultimate party game. If you think mario party is all-out fun, try this game and you'll retire it for good. It's got deathmatch and team deathmatch, but with the fun involved, that's more than enough!! As far as single player goes, there's training, playing vs bots and missions. Also, you can name your worms, which is frickin hilarious.
The only con is that some of the single player missions are frustratingly hard, but that isn't a big deal, since multiplayer is where it's value lies anyway.

5.0 out of 5 stars Never Ending Fun, June 11, 2003

Worms Armageddon is one of the best strategy games ever made. The reason why is that the game is always changing. It has a map generator so that you have a new map every time that you have a game. Also with the hundreds of weapons and the added obstacles in each and every level you never get bored. And don't forget that you get to personally edit your team and they can be the identity that you want to be in the game, thus this game is "Never Ending Fun". thanX

A Kid's Review
This review is from: Worms: Armageddon (Game Cartridge)
Ok graphics, amazing gameplay, no better N64 game. Great game for any age. I rented it for my ninth B-day, all of the guys loved it, it out-voted sarges heros, super smash, Ken Griffy Junior Sluggfest, and the kids who played perfect dark on another day (meaning we were'nt allowed to play at the party) voted it 80percent better!AND SAME WITH GOLDENEYE AND HYDRO THUNDER(the 2nd best N64 game)!!!...

Worms Armaggedon was surprisingly fun and refreshingly un-quarky. Any game w/ "worm" in the title is automatically assumed a kid's game with a cheesy, "A bug's life" feel... this one strays from that stereotype and actually becomes a fun game! 4worms to a team, up to 4 teams, tons of interesting weapons and strateges, many variations on gameplay.
