This review is from: Worms Eat Our Garbage: Classroom Activities for a Better Environment (Paperback)
For the ecology minded, teachers, homeschoolers or anyone interested in activites to show the importance of worms in keeping our planet clean and healthy this is an absolute must have book.. Activities for all grade levels, nicely supplement Mary Appelhof's book Worms Eat my Garbage. I have never been so excited by a book. Kids of all ages will find the subject matter fascinating, even those afraid of "slimy" things.

Fun Fun Fun. Surprisingly popular! Used with 4th, 5th grades... won over nearly every kid! really, with WORMS!Important book to teach responsible living and composting of school lunches! (Unless school lunches are so bad you can't compost them... then it teaches nutrition and govt priorities!

I decided to start vermicomposting this month at both my home and my classroom. My kids at school (8th grade) are really excited about it. I bought this book for ideas to incorporate composting into my lesson plans. Some of the pages are geared toward younger students; however, there are plenty of pages that are appropriate for middle schoolers.

I was looking for a book to help me teach my students (k-6) about vermicomposting. This book HAS IT ALL! The lessons are easy to modify for different levels. The whole book is basically a sequential series of lessons to teach children about vermicomposting. All you need to do is copy the activity pages and gather your supplies. I am THRILLED with this book! If you are looking to start a vermicomposting system at your school this book is a MUST HAVE!

This book was exactly what I was looking for! The condition of the book was superior to a lot of other books I have ordered from Amazon in the past. . . I was very pleased. . .The book also arrived far earlier than I had orignally expected.

The book took over two weeks to be delivered. It's probably a good idea to use expidited shipping if you want to recieve your books before two weeks time.
