5.0 out of 5 stars Worm's!
I bought the last one for Game Boy Color and the only reason it was bad was because it did not have the ninja rope and the GBC was not powerfull enough to handle the graphics that worms required to be a good game. With the Game Boy Advance power and the extra wepons Worm's world party is the best strategy game on the GBA!

3.0 out of 5 stars too hard to transfer from PC?
i got this game b/c the computer version is so much fun but i wanted it for GBA so i could take it anywhere. unfortunately, it is not even close to par as other PC to GBA games. there is only one background music track(which gets annoying), it's much harder to judge power of throwing/firing weapons. overall it's still alright but don't order if you're expecting only...

4.0 out of 5 stars No save, are you kidding???, October 16, 2003

This game is really brilliant, graphic is good, gameplay very good and worms voices are so sweeeeet! But there is one thing I really don't understand. It's saving. Here's none!!! Really. You can't save your teams, team statistics, worms names etc. But that's not all. The hugest problem of saving /rather not saving/ is, you're not able to save your progress in single player option. There's no chance, I will be the best in deathmatch. I have to start every time again and again - no fun, trust me!! But if you want to play good multilayer game with your friend, this's the right game, but if you want a game to play it only by yourself, buy other one (fe: warioland 4, rainbow six:rogue spear).

4.0 out of 5 stars Cool Game For Cool People, January 28, 2003

This is a cool game. If you a big fan of Worms or just a newbie you should buy this game! I have a few problems with this game, hence why I'm not giving it 5 stars.

1. The Ninja Rope and Bungee are a tad funky...
2. The Petrol Box and Bomb don't really do anything.
3. Not much levels or teams to create.
4. The worms don't have any animations while waiting.

Hey, but this a fun game!

5.0 out of 5 stars Worms... Back AGAIN!, June 24, 2002

This review is from: Worms World Party (Video Game)
This is a great, and complex game that i, 14, and my 17 yr. brother can play as well. As of plot, theres not much, but there is a ton of strategy. Now personally, i love RPGs (roleplaying games) like baldurs gate and icewind dale, but MY computer, in my room doesnt allow them so i decided to get something more basic. let me tell you worms isnt basic its an in depth game play for almost all ages, excepy youngster. You play as 8 worms, for example you start, or the other team does, every worm at a time, off and on. you can use things like uzis, bazookas, longbows, kamakazis, teleports, and much more. the point is to kill the opponents worms, or knock them off into the water, ultimately killing them as well. Oh, and by the way single player kicks because the computer is hard to beat.

Classic worms fun. This one has limited reply value, but it is still fun. After you play this one several times, get the DS version and be happy again.

Worms is an excellent and humorus game. The weopons are great, the destructable environments are cool, the graphics are good and the game is fun.
PROS:
-Weapons are great
-Levels are cool
-Mechanics
-True port
CONS:
-No campaign
That is the only complaint I have with this awesome game.

2.0 out of 5 stars Meh, its okay for a handheld version, September 30, 2008

The game plays like the computer version with some changes due to the size of the screen and whatnot.

My main issue is that the computer is too dumb. Even on level "5" they vacillate between incredible shots and self damage.

I only paid 8.80 for the game total so not a big loss, but still not even worth that. For true worms aficionados this isn't for you. Just keep playing it on the computer.

4.0 out of 5 stars OK, not as good as it could be but not bad., June 8, 2005
= Fun:3.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Worms World Party (Video Game)
I'll keep this short, the game isn't bad. There are only a couple of problems with it. The first problem is lousey AI. I saw a worm sit for maybe 5 turns in a row while sitting right next to one of my worms. Anything short of a stick of dynamite wouldn't have hurt it a bit; it could have used a Dragon punch even, but it just sat there doing nothing. I also did see one glitch, the computer's turn didn't end after it attacked; the attack ended when the timer ran down.

The second problem is the ninja ropes. That's one of the biggest things in the PC version and it's almost worthless in the GBA version. They've let the worms jump higher now to compensate, but it's a big loss to have those handled so poorly.

All in all, this is a game I'd recomend for the price. If they'd done it right it would be the best GBA I have, but as it stands it's still in the top three. The game is worth it.
