"Worry - Pursuing a Better Path to Peace" opens with Luke 12:22-34 and primarily focuses on financial & materialistic aspects of worry (money; clothes; food); however, he does touch on other areas of worry (health; safety; etc). The writer closes with seven promises that Jesus makes which can be used to neutralize worry. The pamphlet is only 30 small pages, so it makes for a quick read, and, if you struggle with worry and anxiety, this may be helpful to you. If you are looking for a comprehensive book to help you in dealing with worry and anxiety, I'd highly recommend "Running Scared" by Edward T Welch (ISBN: 978-0-9785567-5-4). One area that I wish this booklet touched on is identifying the difference between worry and conviction, as I believe they may sometimes feel the same but are drastically different--the latter being the prompting of the Holy Spirit to bring the believer to repentance. Welch does cover the subject of conviction to some level in his book. Regardless, you can't beat the price on "Worry - Pursuing a Better Path to Peace" and it's a nice read for any person who struggles with worry.

This is an excellent starting point about dealing with worry. It is short and David Powlison has written excellent books about this and other subjects. I keep some in my office to hand out to people.

The product arrived in a timely manner and was in perfect shape. I really enjoy Mr. Powlison's work, especially his other book entitled "God's Love: better than Unconditional." If you have doubts about God's love, this book will put them all to rest.
