Brother Carroll outlines the biblical pattern of worship. It is so simple and the results are so profound. The book is simple to read and will hold your attention all the way through. It will bring you back to the priority of the christian life as Jesus intended it to be. If you are spiritually dry, if you feel you have lost your power in the daily life, I encourage you to read this book. It will renew the fountain of living water by seeking Jesus through the scriptural principles set forth.

IF you desire a more meaningful Spirit filled life, this book is a must. Joseph Carroll teaches the fundamentals of worship from a pure heart. He also pinpoints trouble spots that maybe hindering your worship. This is one of the best Christian books that I have read on worship.

I can only name a handfull of books that have changed my life. This would be one of them. How to Worship Jesus Christ will get you excited about worshipping Jesus and you will find yourself having a hard time waiting to spend eternity with Him. It is a book that should be read at least once a year. It is a short easy read, yet profound. Jesus is the focal point of all Scripture. Why not learn more on how to better worship Him.

This is one of those books that you'll read and be passing on to all your friends... It's a short little paperback, but it doesn't have a dry or boring page in it. The title is a real misnomer though: this is not a "how-to" book in the usual sense..you won't find within these pages any sort of special formula for how to worship, or even any direct instruction or advice on worship. In fact, I am really hard pressed to describe the content of this book, except to say that if you are like me, when you get done reading it you will have fresh motivation and inspiration and vision as to walking out your own intense and intimate story of worship with our Lord.

This book is a must read book for believers, because it teaches us how to find our source of joy and strength in our Master. In this simple book, the importance, and the "how to" of worship are taught in a way we can all understand and practice. Watch out; this inspires the life more abundant!

There could be a bit more evidence for some of the things he said, especially regarding the best way to worship and the hindrances to it.

But the idea behind everything seems very true and much forgotten.

Many of us desire a more meaningful Jesus filled life but don't know who to get it and it is for us this book is written. Carroll teaches the fundamentals of worship from a pure heart. He also shows trouble spots that maybe stopping your worship. This is one of the best Christian books that I have read on worship.

Also keep is hearing Jesus as he responds to pray. One of the best books on that is this one:

This book fully lived up to its reputation. The author was a missionary for many years and the contents of this book were worked out in those days of service. His influences command respect. He called Hudson Taylor "the father of modern faith missions". A. W. Tozer, who never fails to challenge me, was clearly his greatest influence.

He effectively made the case for what our private time is all about. He says, "My quiet time then became something for Him, not something for me." The great need, he says, is to worship Christ until He becomes real to you. That grows into it being about Him, not even the people to whom you minister. Perhaps preachers talking of that concept today learned it here. In any case, I have never heard it better said.

He quotes Phil 3:8 "...that I may win Christ" and spoke of intimate fellowship with Christ being the key. He explains that people who must always be pushed to do things like witnessing or supporting missions have a serious problem. Then he continues: "What was Paul always doing? He is consistently bringing you to Christ and leaving you with Christ." To my mind, that is profound. Nuggets that really challenge you continue to the end of the book.
