This is one of the best books on worship I've read in a long time. The book talks all about "Ascending in worship, descending in war", just as in biblical times the worshippers led the people into war. It's about spending time with God in worship, in getting to know Him better, and to hear His heart, and then to go out from there to live life His way, including knowing how better to pray for people. I highly recommend it for all Christians!

This book was by far the best book Ive ever read on worship- Chuck Pierce talks about ascending and descending in worship - it is awesome - has truly changed the way I view worship!I HIGHLY recommend this book!

After reading just one chapter of this book I felt the Power of the Holy Spirit opening up my spiritual eyes to see Him for who He truly is in my life. This book teaches you how to go up in worship and see the blessings of the Lord! It will truly be a blessing in your life! I highly recommend this book. Be Blessed.

This is a great book with lots of instruction on worship to get into the presence of God.

This book resorts to listing points, like sermon outlines, too many times throughout the book. Perhaps, if one likes to take an outline and preach a sermon from it, it might be okay, assuming one could develop their own material in support of the points listed; however, the book resorts to this outlining of points far too often for my taste in reading. Instead of just listing points, it would have been better if the editors had pushed the author(s) to actually write more substantive materials in support of all those listed points.

Besides this outline format, I also found the whole idea of traveling up to heaven and then traveling back down, as it were by a spiral staircase, a little bit odd to swallow. The bible says we are ALREADY seated with Christ in heavenly places, so this traversing, conceptually, seems a stretch, perhaps trying to accommodate an old testament viewpoint of Jacob's ladder, instead of a new testament view of ruling and reigning with Christ NOW from a Heavenly Perspective. However, perhaps the point is to encourage Christians to pray in their heavenly language, in the Spirit, consistently in order to maintain mentally where one is already positioned spiritually.

Don't get me wrong, the book has it's points, and is useful in some respects, so I give it an "okay" rating.

An excellent book. Most valuable for worship and prayer leaders and Pastors. I recommend this book for everyone to read, understanding and growing in our intimacy with the Lord.

This is such a good guide to folks who just love God. Love Him anywhere!

The title is so true, once you begin to Worship, you come out ready to stand for truth.

The author of this book has shown me the value of worshiping the Lord...constantly. This is an awesome book on worship and how important it is today not only corporately but on an individual basis. He gives many scriptures and present day examples on how God's glory inhabits the praises of His people. He shows us many instances where God today is sending His glory down through worship, especially worship in song.

Awesome book; very easy to understand and gave me a knew perspective on my "warship" with the Father..........
