5.0 out of 5 stars This Will Blow You Away!
Wow! This book is truly amazing! It has helped me save my business. I was able to protect myself and my employees. The "How To's" like "How to get cash fast" was so straight to the point. The part on "The Rules" was like a guide to me. This is a real business saver! I wish I came across this book when I was starting my business so that I wouldn't have gone through all the...

Bought the book on a suggestion from someone else. It's ok...Talks about a lot of different areas a business can go wrong. Not all the suggestions are all encompassing.

Wow! This book is truly amazing! It has helped me save my business. I was able to protect myself and my employees. The "How To's" like "How to get cash fast" was so straight to the point. The part on "The Rules" was like a guide to me. This is a real business saver! I wish I came across this book when I was starting my business so that I wouldn't have gone through all the trouble researching and stressing myself out. Now, I am very confident that my business will strive in the years to come and even, hopefully, grow globally. Thank you very much Mark and David!

5.0 out of 5 stars When your business means business, October 1, 2009
This review is from: The Worst-Case Scenario Business Survival Guide: How to Survive the Recession, Handle Layoffs,Raise Emergency Cash, Thwart an Employee Coup, and Avoid Other Potential Disasters (Paperback)
This no-nonsense, straight-to-the point Survival Guide is a must-have for every business owner - even if the business is thriving! It lists down every possible business emergency scenario and arms you with a practical guide to overcome each one. My personal favorite is the chapter on productivity emergencies (How to Remove Productivity Leeches and How to Fend Off Death by Meeting, specifically) coz I can apply it to other organizations as well, not just in my business. This book rocks!

5.0 out of 5 stars It's back! This book just might save your business., October 1, 2009
This review is from: The Worst-Case Scenario Business Survival Guide: How to Survive the Recession, Handle Layoffs,Raise Emergency Cash, Thwart an Employee Coup, and Avoid Other Potential Disasters (Paperback)
As usual, another amazing book from Mark Joyner this time with the great David Borgenicht. Glad that the best selling series is back. These words from Joyner say it all, "Keep this guide with you. Then charge on, with the knowledge that nearly every potentially business-killing situation has a solution."

All the topics in the book are just so timely and the tips, very realistic and 'doable'. I personally like chapter 1's How to get fast cash (who doesn't) and How to Renegotiate with Your Creditors. And being in charge of our company's human resources, I know I cannot go wrong with Chapter 2's HR Emergencies, specifically How to Restore Dangerously Low Morale. I certainly agree with this: "Be big enough to stay optimistic and energetic."

This book is a gem. Take it from the great Borgenicht, this book just might save your business.

5.0 out of 5 stars Sensational Feedback from This Book!, February 10, 2010
This review is from: The Worst-Case Scenario Business Survival Guide: How to Survive the Recession, Handle Layoffs,Raise Emergency Cash, Thwart an Employee Coup, and Avoid Other Potential Disasters (Paperback)
As one of the contributors to this book, I just wanted to express my appreciation to all of the people who have contacted me saying how much the book has helped them. My inputs featured "Restoring Morale; Identifying True Priorities; Delivering Bad News; and Dealing with a Lack of Focus." I've heard from so many people in these past few months since the book was released that I felt compelled to post this review. I'd like to recommend that anyone who runs their own business or works in the H.R. department of a large company grab this book. It's quick, it's easy, and it's worth every penny.

I found this book to be especially useful for my consulting business. It covered an immediate need of how to handle firing a underperforming sales person. I bought this book out of curiosity and I'm glad I did. It can be read or skimmed quickly, but it's something that I keep handy and glance at from time to time. It raises your business awareness almost instantly in a variety of areas and that's it's greatest value - handy, timely, simple, advice.

This is only my observation, but I have found most business owners are both OCD and ADD, and though this book covers most of what I already know, I appreciate being reminded the simple, precise steps to identify, isolate, and control the key elements that can make or break your business. It sounds so elementary, but the other thing I really liked about it was the colors, of all things. It was just easy reading, and no fluff to make it a big book just to see their own words published.
