5.0 out of 5 stars Hilarious & Entertaining
I'm 24yo and originally purchased this book for my young(er) niece. I started reading it to see what it was like and couldn't stop. This book is so amusing and informative. The illustrations are hilarious and adorable, especially the "How to evict a ghost" (page 58) illustration. This book really made me smile. I did notice a handful of minor typos, such as "The key...

These boks are offensive. My 12 year old does not need any help whatsoever in figuring out disrespectful nasty things to do to her siblings or circumventing schoolwork and chores. I returned these books without gifting them to her.

The illustrations are hilarious and adorable, especially the "How to evict a ghost" (page 58) illustration. This book really made me smile. I did notice a handful of minor typos, such as "The key to securing fairy friendship is believing that fairies exits." (should be "exist", page 103). I tend to notice this sort of error pattern in most books I read, however.

5.0 out of 5 stars FANTASTIC SERIES!!!!, June 30, 2011

We LOVE this series of books. Our 8 year old son is a good reader but he doesn't like to sit still. Except for these books! He loved "The Worse-Case Scenario Survival Handbook - Extreme Junior Edition," so I thought we'd try this one, expecting pure imaginative fiction. But instead, it's a mix of fiction/unexplained objects (UFO's, Big Foot, etc.) with actual FACTS, such as what astronauts do to survive in space. It's the perfect book to keep your child reading and his or her imagination soaring.
