Short and to the Point: All-Girl Rockers Rock!,

I found out about the all-girl band Go Betty Go through my 14 yr old daughter, and just loved what I heard. This is the initial EP release of the band.
"Worst Enemy" (5 tracks, 16 min.) start off with a charging "You're Your Worst Enemy", and doesn't let up up from there. There will inevitably be comparisons to its SoCal neighbors The Donnas, but for what it's worth the quality of this EP is miles ahead of the Donnas' first album. The best songs are "Son Mis Locuras" (sung partially in Spanish), and the closer "C'mon" (not to be confused with the Von Bondies' "C'mon C'mon"), a perfect ending to 16 min. of all out rock-and-fun. (Incidentally, "C'mon" also appears on the 2004 Vans Warped 2CD compilation). "Worst Enemy" is highly recommended!

They Rock out loud!,

When I was at warped tour, I walked by them performing. They weren't on the "shira girl" stage where I thought almost all girl bands played. I was intrigued. I started to watch them, and was sucked into their great rhythms, riff's, and vocals. I had to buy this EP. IT WAS AWESOME! I listen to it every day now. I love the blend of Pop and Punk they have. It's punk enough that they can play at warped tour, but pop enough that everyone can enjoy their infectious, i-wanna-turn-this-up-all-of-the-way-and-dance-like-a-crazy-person, sound. Can't wait for their album, NOTHING'S MORE to come out.
I highly reccomend this album. It's worth the 7 dollars...or even more!

Picked up this CD after hearing Go Betty Go on the Burnout video game soundtrack, and I can't stop listening to it. Only problem is there are only 5 songs in the disk! The next album is good too.
