Our two Worth Copperheads dented during the first hour of use. Worth did not respond to requests to return /exchange their product, even though their web site provides a contact form for such requests, Do not waste your money and time on this product.

Update: I saw this bat on sale in the store at 70% off for $20. I can only imagine that they have a high returns experience and are clearing out inventory.

========

I purchased this bat at a large Sporting Goods store (sorry Amazon, impulse buy). The bat bent during our first baseball practice. The store reluctantly replaced the bat saying that... aluminum bats bend sometimes. The fact that the receipt was not even 24 hours old helped make our case.

The replacement bat bent within two weeks.

Now you do have to be careful with metal bats, particularly if you hit off a pitching machine that throws "hard-balls." Pitching-machine hard-balls tend to be "harder" than game balls for durability reasons.

In our case, however, we were using only game balls, and slightly softer practice balls. The second bat bent during a game after hitting an infield dribble.
