Stunning Debut!,

This book hooked me from page one when the heroine is escaping from prison - holy cow what an opener!! Action packed with a to-die-for hunky hero and a spunky heroine - I couldn't it down! I'm already looking forward to the next book by Dianna Love Snell, definitely new star on the rise.

Since I have been reading a few collaborations with Dianna Love I wanted to try her first book that she authored on her own. I ended up downloading Worth Every Risk to my Kindle. I was hoping it would be close to what I had read from her collaborations with Sherrilyn Kenyon. What I found was a good book but not exactly what I'd hoped for.
Basically, Angel is running from her employer. After trying to escape once with grave consequences she knows if she can't get away this time it's all over for her. On the run she ends up jumping aboard a cargo plane owned by Zane Black. It was a good book with lots of action and running and gun play and fear and intense moments. What I didn't like was that it seemed to be a little repetitive. It seemed like every two seconds we were turning around and listening to Angel's thoughts about what she missed out on. One other thing that didn't really sit well with me was the fact that they both experienced some sort of it can't be them kind of moment. The first time was like ok. I can go with that. The second time it happened I was more or less unimpressed. Still it was interesting. It had lots of interesting characters. It almost seemed like she'd expand the series and go into more detail about some other characters but I don't think that happened. It felt like there was a little more to Zane that we could have learned about but I guess there is such a thing as over kill. Still, it was a fun read.

Wow! What an incredible book! What an incredible debut author! I connected with Angel from the first page and fell in love with Zane immediately. The fast-paced action and suspense grabbed me and wouldn't let go. Read it in one sitting. Can't wait to read the next one by Dianna Love Snell.
