AWESOME!!,

I bought this album without sampling the songs because I already own music from Warren Barfield, and it has all been pretty good. I knew that this album would be just as good because Warren is a great singer, songwriter, and musician. Sure enough this album did not disappoint, and I was pleasantly surprised to realize it is way better than I had expected. It is a little more commercial than his previous efforts which had more of a singer/songwriter feel, but it still keeps the uniqueness and passion that Warren is known for. In fact, I think this is his best album to date. I highly recommend this album! You will not be disappointed!

I bought this album because I loved Warren's debut album and can listen to it from start to finish. With this album, however, I've found that I only listen to 4 of the songs - the others I don't really care for. I listen to both versions of "Love is Not a Fight" (the acoustic one is my favorite). And I also listen to "As It is in Heaven" and "The Singer Not the Song." The others one I always fast forward over. I've listened to them several times, but they just aren't growing on me so I've given up on them.

Not nearly as good as his 2003 album,
This review is from: Worth Fighting for (Audio CD)
We love Warrens 2003 album, we listen to it often. This album is disappointing, the musical quality doesn't seem to be there. Much less "catchy" than I hoped

This album is great. I bought it because of the single from "Fireproof" but the entire album is great.

Soulfulll!!!,

This album has taken a soulful tune with passion, love and hope in Christ. My favorite is Love is Not a Fight... from Fireproof. How passionate and such a commitment we make to our marriages. Awesome!

I first heard Warren Barfield in a interview on my local Christian radio station. Once I heard the story behind the song "Love Is Not A Fight" I knew I had to get this cd. Warren Barfield is a wonderful song writer and you can feel his love for the Lord in his songs.

I've heard Warren Barfield's name before as well as some of his previous songs but never really put a face with the name. After watching him perform on a recent episode of The Kitchen Sink on the Gospel Music Channel I became curious. What really had me hooked was his song "Love is Not A Fight." I was deeply moved by the song (being a child of divorce I truly understand the song's message) and after seeing him perform it live, seeing the video, and hearing the sample's for the other songs on the CD here at Amazon, I knew I had to get the CD. Since this is my first Warren Barfield purchase I can't compare it with his past work but I must say I wouldn't give this CD up for anything. I definitely recommend getting this CD.

Not as good as Reach,
This review is from: Worth Fighting for (Audio CD)
I absolutely loved "Reach" so I was looking forward to more of the same with Warren's new CD. After listening to it a few times it is starting to grow on me some, but it has more of a "pop" feel to it than the raw blue eyed soul of "Reach". The CD is okay, but it does not really have anything to set it apart from most of the CDs that are available on the market today.
8/2: After listening to the CD several times more times I decided that I should update my review from 3 to 4 stars, but it won't let me. I think Warren is a great guy, but I still think Reach was a better CD.

The song I like the best is "Worth Fighting For", which is used in the Fireproof movie.
