Meredith Andrews' albums have received well-deserved acclaim for her premier songwriting and singing ability. Five years ago, Meredith's debut album The Invitation included the hit song "You're Not Alone." Meredith followed up with her next "best" album, Dove Award winning Worship Album of the Year, As Long As It Takes. With her previous recordings, Andrews focused on a theme and wrote poetic and worshipful commentary with songs about her walk with Jesus. Worth It All is the newest "best" album by Meredith Andrews. While not a departure from her signature piano-based style, this album builds on the momentum of Meredith's vertical worship songs "New Song We Sing," "How Great is the Love" and recent number one inspirational song, "Not for a Moment (After All)." She has written and recorded an entire album loaded with songs that all bring listeners the Throne Room focusing on how God is "Worth It All."

Each of her albums have had at least one song that pulls my heart strings and brings out an emotional response. From "You're Not Alone" and "Draw Me Nearer" to "Come Home" and "All Will Fade Away," I always expect at least one of Meredith's songs to make me cry. On Worth It All there are several personal songs that melt my heart including "Start With Me," "All I Ask" and "Burn Away." Meredith is the premier female worship song writer in all of Christian music, along with Christy Nockels, Brooke Fraser Ligertwood and Mia Fieldes. She consistently writes and sings piercing, relevant and moving songs. If you are looking for an entire album of songs like Dove Award winning Worship Song of the Year "Your Great Name" as recorded by Natalie Grant, look no further than Meredith Andrews. What's especially cool about this album is how Meredith invites listeners into her life by sharing what's on her heart. She dwells on prayerful yearnings, lays out spiritual truths and worships God all at the same time. Opening vertical worship songs "Open Up the Heavens," "Not for a Moment (After All)" and "Strong God" beautifully set the tone for this 5 star masterpiece with her signature powerful vocals and worship filled lyrics. This can be gorgeous background music, but don't miss out on what Meredith has to say in each song.

For me, the lyrical highlights can be found in the emotionally heartfelt songs "Start With Me," "Worth It All," "All I Ask" and "Burn Away" along with "The Gospel Changes Everything." All of these songs worship with awe and wonder the greatness of the Cross. The title track includes the vulnerable and prayerful lyrics, "I let go of all I have, just to have all of You, and no matter what the cost, I will follow You, Jesus everything I've lost, I have found in You, when I finally reach the end, I'll say, You are worth it all!" Amen. The song is a gorgeous offering to our Savior and Redeemer Jesus. "All I Ask" is a gorgeous song with another prayerful refrain reminding me of Hillsong UNITED's brilliant and gorgeous song "All I Need Is You" both in music and message. I hang on every note as Meredith belts out her heart cry to God-"All I Ask, All I seek is You, is You, All I want, All I need is You." Tying everything together is the standout song "Not for a Moment (After All)" which beautifully proclaims the Truth from Romans 8:35--"Nothing can separate us from the love of Christ." Amen.

CLOSING THOUGHTS (Staff Review, NewReleaseTuesday.com)
Meredith Andrews' excellent songwriting, singing and captivating songs have made her my favorite female worship songwriter and singer. If you like Christy Nockels, Brooke Fraser Ligertwood and Natalie Grant, you must get Worth It All by Meredith Andrews. The standout congregational worship songs are "Open Up the Heavens," "Not for a Moment (After All)," "Strong God" and "Worth It All." Don't miss the gut-wrenching personal songs "Start With Me," "All I Ask" and "Burn Away." Truly, every song is amazing. It's hard to imagine, but Meredith has now once again released her "best" album topping her previous excellent work. This is the most spine-tingling female led worship project I've experienced and all of these songs are completely anointed, Spirit-led and emotionally captivating. There are no weak songs and this album is truly a masterpiece. Worth It All is flawless and overflows with worship-driven emotional responses to our Lord and Savior. This is sure to be among the top worship albums of 2013.

Many of the CDs I buy (and I have over 1000) I find that I like maybe half of the songs on the CD. There are some home runs. The others are foul balls (yeah, that's sort of harsh to say, since the songwriter/artist worked hard on them. Sorry. You get what I mean.) This one, though, they are all home runs. Every single cut. That's rare for me. So I give this one not just five stars, but 10 stars.

If I'm correct, Meredith wrote or co-wrote all but one of the songs on the CD. Her style here is sort of a blend of Kim Walker and Kari Jobe, with maybe just a touch of Faith Hill thrown in. The best CD I've heard in a long, long time. It's a gem.

The review title says it all. Meredith's 'Worth It All' is the most worshipful album I've heard since Vertical Church Band's. In fact, the first two tracks are her own rendition of songs from that album. It's really been cool to see how her voice and writing have progressed over the years to culminate into such a beautiful offering of praise given in 'Worth It All'. Favorite tracks: Strong God, Wonder of Wonders, Your Kingdom Reigns. This album is what it's title suggests, worth it all. Worth every bit of $10 and more(a steal at $6.99 on Amazon), and a great way to worship during the week! Highly recommend it! -Nick

Prime Cuts: The Gospel Changes Everything, Worth It All, Not for a Moment

What really sets Meredith Andrews apart? For many artists it is just a mere lifetime fantasy to be nominated for the prestigious Dove Award. But for Meredith Andrews she was not just nominated but she won two awards in 2011 -- a mere three years since her debut Word record "The Invitation." Further, she took home two of the most coveted awards: her sophomore album "As Long As It Takes" was named "Worship Album of the Year" and her single "How Great is Your Love" was touted as the 'Worship Song of the Year." Accolades aside, Andrews is also a worship leader at Harvest Bible Church; a mega-church pastored by renowned preacher and author James MacDonald. Thus, besides her own solo records, Andrews has also contributed songs to her church's CD release "Live Worship from the Vertical Church." With only three albums under her belt, of which "Worth it All" is her third, this North Carolina native is already esteemed as one of the leading worship leaders ranking high up there with Christy Nockels, Darlene Zschech, Nicole Nordeman and Kim Walker-Smith. So, what makes really sets Andrews apart? Is it because she has surrounded herself with an A-Team of collaborators? Though this release was helmed by Paul Mabury (who has also produced for Hillsong United and Darlene Zschech) and a red carpet of songwriters (such as Mia Fieldes, Jason Ingram, Stu G and Ben Glover), it is still not the personnel that is the secret ingredient to Andrews' uniqueness. Or is it because she has the right promotion and management? Definitely being signed to Word Records, one of Christian music's biggest imprints helps. But still stories of major projects with a hefty backings tanking abound. So, what really sets Meredith Andrews apart? It is simply the fact that this worship leader is a living example of someone who has tasted the goodness of the Almighty God. And she has the giftedness of testifying about this transformation in songs that are palatable and memorable.

Take a listen to these 11 songs here and you will be able to tell the difference. While many artists are reticent to mention the name of Jesus and scriptural truths are only shaded in typologies and echoes, Andrews bares her soul for Jesus without any wink of integument or apology. Take the title cut "Worth It All" as a prime example; here Andrews is willing to abandon everything for Jesus as she sings: "Jesus everything I've lost/I've found in you/When I finally reach the end, I'll say/You are worth it all." To the un-regenerated this is excessive hyperbole; but to those whose hearts have been wooed by Christ, this is worship at its purest. Do not let the soft balladry backings of "Burn Away" take away from the song's spiritual muscular message where Andrews prays stridently that God would remove not some - but all ungodliness-- from her life. It takes a strong spiritual Iron-woman to flex such faith-induced prayers. And even when such absolute abandonment to Jesus does not reap immediate dividend, Andrews reminds us on "Your Kingdom Reigns" that we can still trust Him. Pause and listen to her passionate cry especially when she comes to the chorus-you can hear that Andrews really believes in such self-sacrifice in the light of God's indestructible kingdom.

Andrews not only is extravagant in her self-offering to Jesus; but she also basks joyously in God's lavish grace. "Strong God," with its slow rocking beat and a crescendo-building melody, is such an example. Mia Feldes who wrote Hillsong's "It's Your Love" and co-wrote Audrey Assad's "Even the Winter" has co-written two of this album's finest ballads: the piano and strings-led ballad "Not for A Moment" and the slow burning torch "All I Ask." "Not for a Moment," in particular, is one of those faith building songs that warmly assures us of God's abiding presence. The faint of heart will want to avoid album "Open up the Heavens." Here Andrews calls not for a glimmer of God's presence but like God who would render the havens open at the baptism of Jesus, here heaven is ripped asunder as God's presence comes into our worship on this glorious worship anthem.

Do not miss the album's penultimate cut "The Gospel Changes Everything." Co-composed by Paul Mabury, Benji Cowart and Andrews herself, this is the song that unveils the secret behind such tenacious trust in God. Such faith can never be conjured by our own strength; rather, it is the gift of God made possible by the death and the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Coming back to our question again: what really sets Meredith Andrews apart? If you listen to this album carefully, it is the Gospel of Jesus Christ. And this is what will also set you and me apart for His glory.

Bought the CD for 1 song (Not for a Moment/After All) and was pleasently surprised at how AMAZING every single song is on the CD. If you like Kari Jobe, you'll love Meredith Andrews. She's definitely got the Lord's annointing all over her songwriting. Want to draw closer to God while listening to exceptional musical talent?? Buy this CD!!

Some may disagree with me, but I feel that Meredith Andrews is becoming a modern day Fanny Crosby. the power and spiritual truths she packs into these songs(although I've only listened to samples thus far) are just so impactful. I forget what the source was, maybe her own website was it, i'm not sure, but anyways she was talking about her upcoming album and was stating that when she started working on it 2 years ago, she just didn't feel a peace about the songs or the musical direction and basically went up to her record label which is Word and told them that she was just going to do a worship album. It's all I know. Thank you meredith for listening to God and going in His direction because I gotta tell you, the product is one of the most complete I've ever heard in some time. She hits all the vital fundamentals of the Christian faith; the blood, the cross, our Savior Jesus Christ, and the death, burial and resurrection especially in one song like 'the Gospel Changes Everything.' It does indeed. This album brings out the love our savior has for us and any music that makes us just stop for a few moments and dwell on the truths contained in God's Holy Word and marvel in just what God has done for us is top notch in my book. I hope more people will buy this album and God will use it to 'burn away' the ungodliness from our lives and spark a revival in our hearts. I do still love Christian music that is entertaining, but we need more 'annointing' music in Christianity and this album has a taste of that!

Addendum: Okay maybe comparing her to Fanny Crosby was way over the top but it is really good. We need more artists like her that just share the gospel: who God and his son Jesus Christ is and allowing those truths to change us completely from the inside out.

I have to admit that I have never heard of Meredith before browsing amazon and stumbling across this cd, and wow I feel like such an idiot! This cd is amazing and dare I say, one of the best solo Christian albums I have ever heard! When I was first going through the cd I recognized track 2 immediately as it is played on Christian radio often and I immediately said to myself, "oooooh, this is who sings it!" so that was definitely a good thing.

On most cd's you are going to find a few duds but I really did not find any on this cd, I felt that each song has such a great purpose, but if I had to pick my least favorite it would be Pieces, track 11, just because it did not have that worship feel that the majority of the other tracks had. That is not a bad thing at all, I know that song will definitely touch someone who needs to hear it at the right time. Now let's get to the good stuff!!

There are just so many great songs but I want to point out my favorites. 3 Strong God, 4 Start with me, 5 Worth it all, 8 Your Kingdom Reigns and 10 The Gospel changes everything.

I feel these songs are just truly incredible, track 5 Worth it all stands out so much, the last minute or so of the song she belts us such a spine tingling worship moment that you will want to rewind and listen to over and over, it is reminiscent of Philippians 2 where Paul speaks of the time where every knee shall bow and confess Jesus as Lord, it seriously gives you a glimpse of heaven, amazing!

Start with me, track 4 was such a convicting song, it will seriously make you think a lot and make you see that God can truly use anything for His glory and anyone.

Track 10, the Gospel changes everything is such a sweet, beautiful melodic songs that just truly brings you into His presence, because without the gospel, for lack of better words, we are just toast, it is such an amazing way to remind us of what Jesus has done.

I can seriously write so many lengthy thoughts on each song, I will leave it short but I cannot recommend this cd any higher and it is one of the best female cd's I have ever heard and probably one of the best cd's by any Christian solo artist! Buy it and be blessed!!
